Ted Steliotes, a Mt. Lebanon native opened Steliotes Dental Spa
in Waterdam Commons, McMurray, PA.

evaporates as soon as the door is opened. In place of chairs lined
up against a wall is an expansive reception area called "the living
room."

- Filled with comfortable, stylish easy
chairs, the area has the feel of a salon. The decor was styled
after the Mondrian Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
Dental patients who need care beyond
the standard tooth cleaning receive digital x-rays which cuts
radiation by 90% over standard x-rays.
All dental charting is done on
computers which are present in each of the 5 operatories in the
dental suite. The computer also automatically handles the insurance
information provided by the patient.
The
computers also help to comfort a patient. With a click of the
mouse, selections of MTV, CNN or soft background music - whatever
the person in the chair requests and if their appointment is running
late, patients can log onto the internet and send email. We
plan on being the most comfortable office around. But the
high-tech comfort approach doesn't stop at the dental care the
office provides.
